Working closely alongside our project delivery team, you’ll become the glue of the team, co-ordinating and planning the various activities associated with the smooth running of a diverse range of projects. This is an ideal role for someone wanting to fully utilise their previous experience in administration and project co-ordination in an interesting and busy environment.
You will be working in our Digital Solutions team, providing valuable and efficient coordination, planning and support to the delivery of projects and associated project governance forums. There is plenty of interest and variety in this role, and you will be greatly valued for your ability to deal with the detail and make sure things happen as planned!
You’ll get involved in a whole raft of activities such as below:
- Ensuring communication around project information flows smoothly to the client and project team.
- Preparation of governance reports, project status reports, presentations, agendas and minutes, and maintaining logs and registers.
- Proactively keeping everyone updated of project activities and status, and maintaining the processes around key areas such as project issue/ risk management.
- Assisting the project managers in the drafting of project proposals, RFP’s, tenders, budgets, cash flows and preliminary schedules/project plans.
- Organising project meetings, and the taking and management of minutes.
- Using various project scheduling and control tools to monitor projects plans, work hours, budgets and costs, and change requests.
- Tracking and managing change requests.
- Various other useful things to ensure everything flows smoothly.
What we need is a highly organised and capable Project Co-ordinator, who is used to working in a busy and dynamic project environment. We want you to be well-organised with great multi-taking skills, and be keen to use your natural administrative and support skills to keep us on track with what is needed.
We are looking for experience in a similar role, ideally with an understanding of a software development environment. Experience with managing financials is important as well, given the nature of the vendor environment. Most importantly we are looking for the initiative to be self-managing, a real ‘can-do” attitude and the confidence to step in when needed.
