About the role:
As the Operational Team Leader in our Systems Management Group you’ll be managing a team of experienced engineers and ensure that the day to day operation runs smoothly. You’ll be the operational escalation point, manage operational scheduling, and ensure the team is meeting customers’ requirements. You’ll work within the Systems Management Group Leadership Team to help develop, implement, and improve processes and practices to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
This role does not require someone deeply technical - we have technical leads to assist in that area - but does require someone who is really good with leading and managing people, as well as delivering operational outcomes. You’ll thrive in a dynamic environment and be pushed to challenge yourself, helping some of NZ’s most high profile businesses stay competitive and ahead of the game.
About you:
The ideal background for a SMG Operational Team Leader would be:
- ITIL Foundation Certification
- Experience working with technologies used within Windows and Virtual environments
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Extensive operational experience
- Experience working directly with customers and third party support organisations
- Previous leadership experience
