We are looking for a skilled Audio Visual Designer / Programmer to join our Field Services team on a permanent basis in our beautiful new Brisbane CBD office. This role will suit a consultant who wants to keep hands on with the implementation of technologies and have a deep technical understanding across a range of Audio Visual technologies. You will be joining a team of accomplished technology experts delivering great projects to our clients across Australia.
You will provide technical leadership and guidance to other consultants as well as pre-sales with customers. You will have strong customer focus and pre-sales consulting experience. You will be responsible for day to day support of current solutions as well as designing new solutions. You will also be assisting the programming team to improve their programming skills across the SVSI and AMX platform.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
- Demonstrated experience in an Audio Visual Programming and Design position
- Previous experience as an Audio Visual Designer / Programmer from pre-sales to delivery ideally from another Audio Visual Services provider
- AMX architecture, design and implementation experience
- Microsoft Visio or equivalent graphical design program
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of standard software as well as DSP and switcher set-up
- Ability to trouble shoot audio, video and control systems problems
- A primary focus on AMX, AMX-SVSI and Kramer
- An understanding of networking and ancillary systems such as firewalls, VPN, reverse proxies and application gateways
- AMX certifications are mandatory
- Other vendor certs such as Cisco, Polycom, Infocomm, etc. are desirable
- Be willing to undertake future training and certification
