We require a junior to intermediate level Business Analyst to join our Taranaki Strategic Services Group. This group is made up of a Senior Architect, a project manager, a junior architect and you – our BA. You’ll still be learning and won’t know everything, but you will be capable, a self-starter, eager to learn, and keen to get stuck in.  As a Datacom BA you will be the key link to knowing our customers businesses and their requirements inside and out – you’ll be a trusted advisor with a strong focus on delivery. You will have broad life experience, knowledge, and be able to build rapport with anyone. But what you don’t know, you’ll be willing to get stuck in and learn. 
 
What we look for in our BA’s 
 
  • You are independent and self-starting – and will be closely working with a junior architect to answer business problems.
  • You are the face of the team to the client – they trust you and will confide in you – for good reason – you are on their side!
  • The ability to elicit, and define, people’s problems into clearly communicated requirements.
  • You will be the initiator of projects, the person who understands why we are doing a project and ensures that what is delivered addresses the original problem. 
  • Outstanding communication skills which will allow you to build solid relationships with our clients and ability to manage business conflicts and differing priorities.
  • You’ll work with the Architecture, Design and Implementation groups, applying your client-specific business knowledge.
