Product Sales Support Team Leader
Our Christchurch based Product Sales team provide a wide range of hardware and software products to customers throughout New Zealand. Due to team growth there is a fantastic opportunity to join our Product Team as a Sales Support Team Leader.
This constantly varied, rewarding and demanding role will suit a team player who takes ownership of tasks and is self-motivated and self-managing. You will be comfortable working to deadlines, be well organised and efficient, enjoy building product knowledge and thrive when multi-tasking.
Your ability to form relationships with vendors, clients and our internal teams is essential to the success of being a key part in our sales support team. Your willingness to bring the best out of people who look up to you as a senior sales support and lead by example will be crucial to this role.
A typical day is likely to involve most, if not all, of the following duties:
- Managing software and hardware quote requests
- Processing software and hardware orders
- Communicating timeframes to various parties
- Owning complex administration/logistical/orders
- Taking responsibility to deliver reporting
- Leading a small team of sales support members
- Helping with vendor management
- Always looking for processes to improve
- Being the ‘go to’ person for queries
Our ideal person will possess the following skills and experience:
- Ability to quickly master and utilise multiple systems for quoting and ordering; and deep dive in to the technical aspects to be our ‘go to’ person
- Previous experience in a procurement/product role, ideally in the IT industry
- Knowledge of IT products and ITQuoter tool, Great Plains or Netsuite ERP platforms, is an advantage; but an interest in IT products and a desire to learn will be considered
- Proven ability to multi task and prioritise your work while maintaining excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Having the experience and/or desire to be a successful leader of a small team; and can lead by example
- Ability to assess situations and use your initiative to bring positive outcomes
- A solid foundation in administration and interest to lead all administration tasks for our team.
