Datacom Connect are currently seeking an IT Security Manager to join our rapidly growing team.
  
In this role you will lead and execute the security design, deployment and management of Datacom Connect’s Contact Centre as a Service (CCaaS) environment in accordance with Australian Government security requirements.
This role encompasses operational security across the technology streams and provides a high level of governance and framework, covering security incidents/changes/exemptions and access control.

The successful candidate will have a high degree of customer focus and be able to converse with a diverse range of customers and company staff and be a thought leader in their field.

You will be deeply engaged with and ideally have knowledge of the Australian Information Security market and the broader application of security best practices relating to ISO27001standards.  You will provide support to the Connect Technology team in developing and delivering the Information Security compliance framework, and ensuring that the business meets all client IT compliance requirements.

About the role:
  • Manage the system’s ongoing conformance program including management of 2nd and 3rd party audits.
  • Ensure that the capability conforms to the PSPF and ISM.
  • Lead technical staff by ensuring that all ICT deliverables conform to contractual obligations, internal policies and design principles.
  • Fulfil the Australian Government’s ISM role of IT Security Advisor (ITSA) 
  • Conduct periodic audits to ensure conformance with Datacom's Contractual obligations.
  • Contribute specialist knowledge and expertise to solution design in accordance with the Australian Government’s ISM.
  • Identify, develop and direct the harmonisation of the Information Security strategy and tactics ensuring alignment with Datacom’s business plan across all of Datacom Connect’s products.
  • Deliver risk management 
  • Review proposals for new IT services including risk and conformance, ensuring appropriate capabilities are delivered
  • Ensure that new IT security requirements are enabled in accordance with the contractual agreement with our clients
  • Review designs, perform risk assessments and ensures the most optimal installation, maintenance and monitoring of security controls
About you:
  • Experience working in similar roles in large enterprise environments
  • Demonstrated experience in managing Information Security
  • Experience supporting IRAP assessments and accredited systems
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills
  • Knowledge of ISO 27001
  • CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
  • Thorough understanding of the latest cyber security principles, techniques, and protocols
  • Knowledge across  major hardware/software vendors products and solutions
  • AGSVA Security Clearance or ability to obtain
  • Australian Citizenship
