Due to continued growth, Datacom are seeking an Employee Engagement Advisor with experience in the contact centre industry to join our team. The primary focus of the role is managing our defined programmatic approach to employee engagement initiatives and event coordination in line with our culture, brand and overall employee engagement strategy. You will be a change agent, an outstanding communicator and use your warmth and authenticity to influence stakeholders and business decisions.  

About the role:
  • Develop an annual program of engagement and wellbeing activities
  • Enabling and supporting people managers to run and maintain their own engagement activities to increase engagement and retention
  • Coordinate various team engagement activities and events in association with and leveraging assistance from the Administration Team.
  • Ownership and administration of our reward and recognition program
  • Set up, ownership and ongoing management of our Manager’s Toolkit
  • Provide coaching and support to leaders
  • Establish and build internal relationships through consultation, advice and service to build high performance
  • Research and analyse workplace matters and develop appropriate solutions for continuous improvement
  • Communication of engagement and wellbeing activities using multi-channel platforms including Yammer, email, TV’s, etc.

About You:
  • Experience in designing and deploying Employee Engagement strategies including events coordination
  • Excellent organisational and multi-tasking skills
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and manage change
  • Independently motivated with the ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail
  • The ability to use initiative and judgment in resolving problems
  • High level oral and written communication skills with good interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work as part of a team as well as independently
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products
