Our Product team, part of the Datacom Solutions Local Government group, deliver product enhancements and implementation services to our customers. This is a close-knit team of high performers who take pride in the solutions they deliver and get a buzz out of seeing their applications being utilised by our clients.
The Role
Working closely with an established client base, the Business Analyst is responsible for how a system works, and how our clients get value from that technology, from both a functional and non-functional perspective. You will work closely with customer stakeholders, users and the delivery team on a day-to-day basis to convert ideas and concepts into prioritised work items. Typical activities include requirements gathering, user story and backlog creation, prioritisation, technical dependency mapping, client expectation management; providing analytics; workshop planning and facilitation. Ultimately, you will be the owner of functional outcomes and the key to us building successful complex systems for our clients.
About You
A commitment to agile and waterfall principles with a passion for the customer-experience is key, along with a mind-set that continually analyses digital technology from how the end-customer will be using it. You will need to have a strong combination of skills and experiences across traditional BA roles and toolsets, ability to communicate with stakeholders to elicit requirements and carefully manage expectations across a wide stakeholder group. You will identify areas of value, root out pain points, and be the interface between the developers, and the customer. Enjoy acquiring knowledge and experience around the solution decisions. Continually meeting good usability practices are crucial for excelling in this role.
