The Challenge
Replacing hardware for a team of 350 people is a big task, so when Hastings District Council needed to upgrade their PC as well as Server and Storage Infrastructure, they called in the experts. As the largest New Zealand-owned IT services provider, Datacom delivered the cost effective and effi cient results the Council required.
The Solution
Datacom, who won a very competitive bid, partnered with HP to provide 200 new desktop computers along with Server and Storage Infrastucture that would meet the Council’s needs both now and into the future.
Hastings District Council Information Services Manager, Ian Wright, says for them, having reliable IT equipment is key. “It makes our jobs that much easier and means the team can focus on doing their jobs.”
