Datacom, Australasia’s largest independent business technology solutions provider, today announced that it has been awarded a contract to deliver a leading range of contact centre services to the Australian Taxation Office.

The contract, estimated to be worth AU$32.5 million over the next 4 years, follows Datacom’s earlier September 2012 appointment to the ATO’s Outsource Contact Centre Services (OCCS) panel.
Datacom will provide contact centre services to assist the ATO during the crucial tax time period and throughout the year.

Jonathan Ladd, Datacom Group CEO said, “We are delighted to have been awarded this work after going through a fiercely competitive process to secure a place on the panel last year, and an extensive process to design a support model that met the ATO’S flexibility requirements.”

We know that this appointment recognises our proven track record, advanced technical capabilities and our long term commitment to the Australian federal government.”

Datacom has further leveraged its extensive government pedigree over the last 12 months securing new contracts with several public sector entities including DIAC and ACCC.

In 2012 Datacom, in partnership with AusIndustry, won the ‘Best Outsourced Contact Centre’ award at the Government Contact Centre Summit 2012.

Datacom works with multiple commercial organizations and government entities and across its own extensive suite of market leading IT solutions.
