Due to organic growth, we require a Microsoft Technology Specialist to join our Professional Services team on a permanent basis in our beautiful new Brisbane CBD office. This role will suit a consultant who wants to keep hands on with the implementation of technologies and have a deep technical understanding across a range of Microsoft technologies. You will be joining a team of accomplished technology experts delivering great projects to our clients across Australia.

 

You will provide technical leadership and guidance to other consultants as well as assisting pre-sales efforts with customers. You will have a strong customer focus and pre-sales consulting experience.

 

Skills and Experience required:

  • Previous experience as a Microsoft Technology Specialist from pre-sales to delivery ideally from another IT Services provider
  • Public cloud architecture, design and implementation experience
  • A primary focus on Office 365, Intune/SCCM and Azure
  • Proven experience with Federation Services, Active Directory, Public key Infrastructure
  • An understanding of networking and ancillary systems such as firewalls, VPN, reverse proxies and application gateways
  • Experience deploying Windows 10 with Microsoft Deployment Tools – MDT,SCCM, Intune etc.
  • Knowledge of firewall and security best practices
  • Knowledge of Hybrid Cloud networking integration with AWS/Azure (Direct Connect/ExpressRoute)
  • Ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Ability to scope and price work estimates
  • Microsoft certifications are mandatory
  • Optional other vendor certs such as AWS Solution Associate
  • Be willing to undertake future training and certification
