As a Technical Consultant within Datacom you will ensure we deliver technical excellence, quality and consistency across all our customers. We are looking for people who are keen to use their expertise to help us grow the business and who understand that there is always more to learn.
The Role:
- Your role will involve engaging with all parts of the Datacom business and our customers
- You will meet with clients to gather their business requirements to design technology solutions that meets their objectives and budgets
- Through your role, you will aim to establish strong relationships with customers to further your position as a "trusted advisor"
- As part of your role you will be constantly learning new technologies to stay ahead of technology movement and market demands
- You will also be comfortable with learning and implementing new technologies where necessary in order to meet customer needs, this may involve either formal or informal training. You will be comfortable at leading and holding technical workshops with clients or other consultants, architects or engineers
- You will be comfortable at project technical implementation activities ("hands on") as part of you daily activities
- Finally, you will be approachable and willing to mentor other staff with in our business and provide assistance where necessary in order to help resolve issues in order for Datacom to deliver exceptional service and customer outcomes
