The Role
The SAM Administrator role is pivotal to the success of the Datacom SAM Service, ensuring client SAM Service records are accurate, and seamless collaboration across teams with the client’s best interests at the centre of what we do! This role provides a slow start, with the opportunity to develop and progress your career within the broader IT Asset Management field and Service Asset and Configuration Management area, overtime.
As our SAM Administrator, you’ll champion accurate record management within Datacom’s Software Asset Management service toolsets. Your responsibilities will include engaging with internal teams, plus clients and client operations teams, to ensure that client software entitlement and purchase records are recorded accurately, within our Service Level Metrics. You’ll validate license records and interpret data outputs from various systems to ensure records are complete.

We’re looking for someone who is enthusiastic to join a dynamic, fun, but dedicated team. It’s most important that you’re an effective communicator and a team player who takes pride in your organisational and logic skills. Hopefully you’ll also enjoy some good banter! You’ll have high attention to detail and have driven initiative to effectively achieve the responsibilities within the role. Maybe you’re looking to return to the work force or looking to begin your career in an established IT company. Preferably you’ll have sound knowledge of the SAM process and deliverables.
