We are currently seeking an experienced Service Desk Analyst to provide high quality service for our well-known Ipswich based client. This is an opportunity for an initial 2-month contract, with possibility of extension for the right candidate. The role is based in Ipswich.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general Active Directory and user account administration for example, setting up new accounts, user account access, group membership, file and directory access, email accounts, remote access and termination of accounts aligned with existing procedures.
- Assist in administrative support for maintenance of asset and configuration management registers and software licensing records.
Provide technical support for:
- ICT fleet assets (including: PC’s, laptops, tablets, smart phones, etc)
- Facilitating user access to the network, servers and other infrastructure components and related services
- Upgrades and rollout of new hardware and software
- Remote access support including VPN, Citrix and Cisco routers and switches; support of SCADA connectivity to remote sites and offices
- Applications, hardware, software and networking issues
Desired Skills:
- ICT Certificate IV qualification highly regarded
- A+ Software and/or hardware qualifications highly regarded
- Possession of ITIL accreditation highly desirable
- Unrestricted Drivers License for a motor vehicle
Mandatory Skills:
- Demonstrated 2-3 years practical experience supporting Microsoft platforms and applications in commercial envirnments, ie: windows 7 and 8, Microsoft Office 2010/2013, Active Directory, Remote Desktop tools and standard protocols including TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP
- Demonstrated experience in problem solving Citrix, VPN, Remote
