Reporting directly to Application Change Manager delivering innovative solutions for a government sector client, we are seeking a highly experience IT Test Lead to join our professional, fun and friendly project team environment on a Permanent role.
In this role your key deliverables will be:
- Ability to clearly document and articulate the following : Test Plans, Test Approach, Test Scenarios, Test Cases, Test Summary Report and contribution to production deployment plan and activities
- End-to-end testing experience (Test Analysis, Design, Execution, Defect Management, Reporting)
- Hand-on experience in Test execution using Manual and Automation test techniques
- Creating and reviewing test scripts to be incorporated into test plan, requirements analysis and ensuring full requirement coverage & traceability
- Taking ownership for system test activities and performing functional, integration and regression testing in an AGILE/iterative environment
- Ability to schedule and develop a work plan in order to work with relevant business users to ensure testing is undertaken in a timely manner
- Ability to highlight and drive issues forward from identification through to resolution
- Liaising with Business leads, BA's & SME's to understand the requirements
- Ability to work well with minimal supervision with tight timelines and deadlines
- Work collaboratively with the development team throughout the build process to ensure the product follows the requirements
To be considered for this exciting role, you will need to have:
- Solid knowledge of relevant technology concepts
- Experience in JIRA or VSTS
- Web application testing
- Database testing skills – SQL or Oracle
- Web service API testing – SOAP or POSTMAN is desirable
- Experience with Performance testing is desirable
- Automation experience (Selenium/C#) is desirable using Page Object Model, Synchronisation, CICD – VSTS/Octopus/GIT/Jenkins
- Experience in BDD using Cucumber and Gherkin desirable
- Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
