About the role
Working on behalf of our enterprise customers on large, bespoke custom software projects that run from 3 to 12 months, we adhere to agile software development principles and deliver using Microsoft technologies. We have a team that operates lean, using the latest development tools and practices, and always puts customer value first. We are looking for a project manager at a senior level that will guide this work and find ways to continually improve. On top of this, you will utilise your experience as a Scrum Master and will feel at home in a consultant capacity, getting involved with pre-sales.
The PM role at Datacom is truly diverse, influencing how our customers view us as a service provider, so whether it’s large-scale integration, bespoke software solutions, portals projects or projects with a digital flavour, your dedication to understanding your customer means you can turn your hand to any project and even predict customer challenges.
Representing your organisation at the highest level, you will understand the importance of rallying and motivating the delivery team around you. You will also be involved with presales and winning bids.
About you
As a consultancy, we need people who are engaging, intelligent and driven in their approach to client satisfaction. Naturally, you will be an excellent communicator and will come from a successful background of software project delivery.
Furthermore, you will have;
- Demonstrated ability to shape and execute complex custom software projects on time and on budget with external customers.
- Experience delivering projects using modern agile approaches, including coaching team members and stakeholders.
- Strong experience as a Scrum Master
- Experience managing project teams, developing strategy, risk management, reporting and change management.
- The ability to work in a pre-sales capacity
- Strong technical understanding - integration, modern web platforms, PAAS, SAAS, test automation and development.
- The knowledge and mind-set to prepare and present business cases and commercial proposals for our customers.
