The Integration Consultant role in Datacom is a newly created role in the Microsoft software integration area of the business. As senior position, the Integration Consultant will be provided the autonomy and scope to grow the practice how they see fit, while given the support and resources they need to bring their vision to reality.
Datacom takes great pride in the delivery of world class integration development services to their vast range of clients and the Integration Consultant is fundamental to the growth of the Integration business and changing paradigm in which our customers integrate their systems.
The Role
You will combine your technical ability and background with your strong commercial awareness to position and push the benefits of API led connectivity and management within the wider market. Whether its pitching to potential clients, writing proposals, developing solutions, driving innovation within the team or getting involved in staff recruitment to grow the team, the Integration Consultant role if full of exciting and limitless potential.
The Person
As this is a senior position, we need someone who comes from a proven background of driving growth, leading innovation and building a team from bottom up. You not only have a thorough understanding of API gateways products, but also have excellent commercial acumen and the ability to sit with clients and promote your offerings, as well as a strong understanding of DevOps as it applies to modern Integration. Experience with the Azure API Management gateway product would be desirable. We like people with a market presence so if you blog, speak at conferences and roadshows that is a big plus. Being autonomous, passionate, self-motivated and the strong desire to grow a practice from the ground is a must.
