We are always on the look out for talented and unique people to join our teams here at Datacom. This year we are looking for over 50 graduates to join us across Australia and New Zealand from all areas of study; not just engineering, science and technology based degrees.
What does this mean for you? Datacom’s culture relies on your fresh thinking, to bring new ways of changing the world using technology. We want graduates who are focused, eager to learn and are driven by their passion – most importantly, we want you to have fun.
We need you to think outside the box, bring your best people skills to the table and engage our biggest clients in new and interesting ways. Our graduates aren’t stuck filling out spreadsheets – we want to place you in full time permanent roles focusing on your areas of interest. So please make sure you outline what you are passionate about in your application, and how your attitude and passion can make the world a better place.
“I can teach anyone to code… what I can’t teach is attitude” – Greg Davidson (CEO)

Datacom’s graduate positions typically commence between August and February. But if you have already graduated and are ready now, please register your interest so we can contact you if any opportunities arise before July.
How does it work?
We place graduates into full time, permanent positions and focus on getting graduates into training in technologies and frameworks they need to do the job. We provide ongoing career development, mentoring, and events, such as our annual hackathon called Datacomp.
Requirements and process
To be eligible for the Graduate Programme, you must be available to start in a full time position by February 2019 and have completed a bachelor’s degree at a New Zealand or Australia tertiary institution.
We will hold onto your application to review for any upcoming opportunities, and keep you in the loop along the way! Our official process kicks off on July 30th so we will update our information closer to the time.
Once we’ve reviewed your application, you can expect to hear back from us within a few weeks. The first stage involves a networking event, followed by two interviews before the offer stage. There are no heavy technical assessments, video interviews or psychometric testing. Only applications with a current academic transcript or a screenshot of your current grades (verified by your educational institution), will be considered.
