About you

The Enterprise Architect / Consultant is responsible for coordinating and leading pre and post sales activity and providing strategic advice and thought leadership both internally and to new and existing Datacom clients. Your business knowledge as well as your broad architecture domain (Business, Technology, Application & Information) knowledge is key to building trust and driving value and thought leadership to both our clients and to Datacom.

  • Uphold enterprise architecture strategy, principles and standards. Contribute to their evolution with recommendations based on long term IT organization strategy, goals, and lessons learnt.
  • Development of strategy road map and transition architectures.
  • Risk and change impact assessment, cost benefits, options and articulation of a case for change to the strategic target state.
  • Risk Management
  • Enterprise Architecture Repository - technology principles, standards, logical designs, physical design, current state and future state
  • Develop and maintain the modelling of the future technology landscape as per enterprise infrastructure technology strategies

Must haves

  • Minimum 10 years IT experience (OR Tertiary IT degree qualification with 8 years’ experience)
  • Broad architecture experience and exposure or experience in business application architecture. Experience in solution development and outsourcing service design.
  • Knowledge of ITIL and COBIT and as applicable Industry recognised Architectural Framework certification (TOGAF, Zachman, DoDAF etc.)
