In this role you will be supporting a wide variety of IT environments, sometimes remotely but often onsite with our clients; providing desktop, server, printer and network support. You will be working closely with customers so outstanding communication and service skills are an essential focus in this role. Your professionalism will also be a key strength alongside your technical ability.
Some of your responsibilities will include…
- Onsite support for a number of clients across Taranaki – valid NZ driver’s license and own vehicle are required.
- Building and supporting end-user devices (PCs, laptops, thin-clients, printers, mobiles, tablets).
- Diagnosing faults / troubleshooting / problem solving.
- Basic Server and Network support
- Windows desktop and application support
- Building strong relationships with colleagues and clients
- Continually innovating in your work environment
- Accurate and complete documentation
- Demonstrating honesty, integrity and a good sense of humour
To be successful in this role you will ideally have relevant qualifications plus 2 years’ experience in a similar role where you have built up a wide range of general IT skills. You will demonstrate excellent problem solving and communication skills. You’ll need to be a self-starter, with good organisational skills and attention to detail.
