About the role:
The Business Intelligence Consultant / Developer is a new role in our growing team, you will lead our growth into Business Intelligence and this will be a full BI lifecycle role. This is a fantastic opportunity for and Experienced BI Consultant who enjoys working with clients and is passionate about Business Intelligence and keen to showcase it using the likes of Power BI.
You will have the skills to be able to engage with critical stakeholders both internally and externally on exploring their reporting needs. You will assist them to realise their vision for Business Intelligence and become a trusted advisor. You will be able to construct these visions into what our customers require with detailed designs.
You will then have the skills when required to deliver these solutions using your experience working with various tools. You will have enthusiasm to learn new BI toolsets that arise and an interest in mentoring new BI team members.
About you:
We are on the lookout for a seasoned BI developer so if you have experience with most of the below we would love to hear from you:
- Previous consulting experience
- Knowledge and experience of Power BI, Qlik or other reporting dashboard tools would be advantageous
- Generalist development background
- Strong communication skills with a 'client facing' attitude
- Good time management and an ability to multi-task/balance parallel work streams
- Excellent understanding of data modelling concepts
- A team player who is able to work independently
- SQL Server Full BI stack (SSIS,SSAS,SSRS)
