BI consultant (Power BI)
The Role
The Business Intelligence Consultant will be reporting directly into Internal BI Manager, or Chief Data Officer at Datacom. As a Business Intelligence consultant, you’ll be asked to analyse requirements, develop ETL solutions, provide functional specification reports, design reporting solutions and create Cubes as well as providing maintenance and optimisation.
The Person
We are on the lookout for a seasoned BI consultant so if you have experience with most of the below we would love to hear from you
- SQL Server Full BI stack (SSIS,SSAS,SSRS)
- Power BI Skills are a must
- Exposure to and knowledge of Power BI Gateway
- Power BI M Query and formula capability
- Understanding of MS Azure data stack
- Strong documentation capability
- MS Excel (Advanced) a knowledge of excel formulas
- Good time management and an ability to multi-task/balance parallel work streams
- Excellent understanding of data modelling concepts
- A team player who is able to work independently
