About the role
We are looking to engage the experience and expertise of a seasoned professional for our Education business, reporting directly into the Chief Operating Officer.
The Associate Director, Education will be deeply engaged with and have strong working knowledge of the Australian Education (Public and Private) and Information Technology markets. The responsibilities of the role will include strengthening Datacom’s position in the Education market by developing a high performing national team. The role will engage in sales pursuits and deliver services working with customers, partners and suppliers, to ensure positive outcomes.
The successful applicant will;
- develop and evolve a cohesive strategy leveraging our capabilities and those of our key partners to maximise the opportunities in the K-12 and Higher Education sectors
- lead a specialised team of learning professionals and technology experts who know the challenges facing learners and educators and the opportunities available to introduce new technologies and capabilities, to enhance the students learning experience
- be deeply engaged with and have strong working knowledge and relationships in the public and private Education markets
- strengthen Datacom’s position in the Education market and grow the portfolio
